The next time you visit Nevada, add Bailey's Hot Springs, just a few minutes north of Beatty to your must see list. It is a short distance from Beatty and definitely worth the drive. Even from Las Vegas, the drive is only 120 miles, or approximately a two hour trip.
Lounge and relax
Bailey's Hot Springs offers the opportunity to lounge and relax in warm, crystal clear waters. Let the warm waters relax and soothe your tired, aching muscles. You are sure to feel refreshed and renewed. The damp heat from a hot spring is proven to relieve muscle pain and stress, and there are several other health benefits as well.
Always open
Bailey's Hot Springs consists of large antique bathhouses that are open every single day of the year from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm. If you are not staying long, they are available for rent by the hour.
Camping
Bailey's Hot Springs also has a camping and RV site, so for a nominal fee you can stay for a few days and soak your stress away daily.
Historical site
For history and historic railroad buffs, Bailey's Hot Springs is an interesting location full of rich history. More specifically, the site is a former railroad depot. It was a part of the Bullfrog & Goldfield Railroad, which was abandoned in the 1940s.
If you want a vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, Bailey's Hot Springs is a great destination. Take your RV or tent, sleep under the stars, and relax in the hot springs.
