Echo Canyon State Park

Nevada State Parks offer a variety of experiences for visitors to enjoy. Echo Canyon State Park does not disappoint in these experiences, either. Echo Canyon covers many acres and contains a host of enjoyable times for everyone, no matter how much they do or do not want to experience the outdoors.
About the park
Echo Canyon expands over a large area which includes a 65 acre reservoir as well as beautiful scenery. Many species of animals and plants call Echo Park home. Visit the park any time during the year, but take care in the winter, when snow can fall at this high elevation. The total area of the park exceeds 1,000 acres to allow for ample space for everyone to enjoy it.
What to do
Echo Park allows for many different activities including camping, picnicking, boating, hiking and fishing. The large reservoir gets regularly stocked with fish to make sure that fishermen have plenty to go after. These include bass and trout. You can set up camp at any of the 33 different camping sites, and stay in close proximity to fresh water at all sites as well as toilets and RV stations at some areas. As a hiker, explore several trails throughout the park. Ash Trail gets the most travelers because of the great views they can take in as they hike.
Echo Park expands over a large area of beautiful Nevada wilderness and offers visitors a lot of nature to explore. Set up camp, go for a hike, or enjoy the reservoir any time of year for a great time.
